When Shelly and Steve came to me with a plan to get married at Camp Young Judaea, Shelly’s childhood camp in Wimberley, TX, I jumped at the idea. It’s a place that holds years of memories for Shelly and her family, and the grounds are full of beautiful tree-covered groves! I knew it would be a sweet retreat for all of their friends traveling down from New York City, and a fun step into Shelly’s past.
Shelly & Steve are both successful journalists in NYC so getting away from the city and creating a fun camp-style wedding weekend was a priority. We dressed things up with beautiful soft purples, touches of gold, and rustic wood. Pollen Floral Art adorned the celebration with their stunning stems, Uptown Drive kept the guests dancing all night, and Mint Photography captured it all perfectly.
It was a beautiful May day full of love and I’m so excited to share a few snippets of it below. Thank you Shelly & Steve for allowing me to bring your day to life!
